2000 College Format
This year marks the first year of Section W-1B’s Teaquan Wask University (TWU). At conclave, you will have the opportunity to attend three courses from one college, or one course from three different colleges. If you fulfill the requirements specified by each college, you will earn an Associate Degree from that particular college. If you earn an Associate Degree this year, you will receive a diploma including a TWU Associate Degree patch. If you come back next year, you can add on to your Associate Degree and receive a Bachelor’s Degree with a TWU Bachelor’s Degree patch. If you return a third year, you can earn a Master’s Degree with a TWU Master’s Degree patch. Finally, if you return for a fourth year with your Master’s Degree, and be either a Professor or Professor’s Assistant in the college you earned all of your degrees in, you will earn a Doctorate Degree with a TWU Doctorate degree patch. The degree requirements for each college are listed below. (These requirements were setup for the 2000 Conclave
and may change for future conclaves.)
Associate
Degree Ceremonial College (CC) - To earn a Ceremonies Associate Degree, you must take CC 100 and two other courses from the college. College of Lodge Management (CLM) - To earn a Lodge Management Associate Degree, you must take CLM 100 and two courses from either the CLM or from GS. College of Chapter Management (CCM) - To earn a Chapter Management Associate Degree, you must take CCM 100 and two courses from either the CCM or from GS. New Arrowmen College (NAC) - To earn a NAC Associate Degree, you must take NAC 100 and two courses from the NAC or one course from the NAC and GS 110. General Studies (GS) - To earn a GS Associate Degree, you must take three courses from three different colleges, one course per college.
Bachelor’s
Degree Ceremonial College (CC) - To earn a Ceremonies Bachelor’s Degree, you must have already earned a Ceremonies Associate Degree and take three additional courses, following all requirements to earn a degree from the college that year. College of Lodge Management (CLM) - To earn a Lodge Management Bachelor’s Degree, you must have already earned a Lodge Management Associate Degree and take three additional courses, following all requirements to earn a degree from the college that year. College of Chapter Management (CCM) - To earn a Chapter Management Bachelor’s Degree, you must have already earned a Chapter Management Associate Degree and take three additional courses, following all requirements to earn a degree from the college that year. New Arrowmen College (NAC) - To earn a New Arrowmen Bachelor’s Degree, you must have already earned a New Arrowmen Associate Degree and attend Conclave a second time after you have received your Associate Degree, with your Brotherhood. General Studies (GS) - There is no General Studies Bachelor’s degree. If you take GS a second year, you will receive another General Studies Associate Degree.
Master’s
Degree Ceremonial College (CC) - To earn a Ceremonies Master’s Degree, you must have already earned a Ceremonies Bachelor’s Degree and take three additional courses, following all requirements to earn a degree from the college that year. College of Lodge Management (CLM) - To earn a Lodge Management Master’s Degree, you must have already earned a Lodge Management Bachelor’s Degree and take three additional courses, following all requirements to earn a degree from the college that year. New Arrowmen College (NAC) - There is no New Arrowmen Master’s Degree. General Studies (GS) - There is no General Studies Master’s degree. If you take GS a third year, you will receive another General Studies Associate Degree.
Doctorate
Degree Ceremonial College (CC) - To earn a Ceremonies Doctorate Degree, you must have already earned a Ceremonies Master’s Degree and be either a Professor or Professor’s Assistant for any CC course. College of Lodge Management (CLM) - To earn a Lodge Management Doctorate Degree, you must have already earned a Lodge Management Master’s Degree and be either a Professor or Professor’s Assistant for any CLM course. College of Chapter Management (CCM) - To earn a Chapter Management Doctorate Degree, you must have already earned a Chapter Management Master’s Degree and be either a Professor or Professor’s Assistant for any CCM course. New Arrowmen College (NAC) - There is no New Arrowmen Doctorate Degree. General Studies (GS) - There is no GS Doctorate degree. If you take GS a fourth year, you will receive another General Studies Associate Degree.
Professor’s
Degrees To earn a Professor’s Degree, you must either be a Professor or Professor’s Assistant for any course in any college. Your first year, you receive a Professor’s Associate Degree. Your second year as a professor you will receive a Professor’s Bachelor’s Degree. Third year you will receive a Professor’s Master’s Degree. Your fourth year, and every year after that, you will receive a Professor’s Doctorate Degree.
Honorary
Doctorate Degree The presiding Section Chief at conclave can award the Honorary Doctorate Degree from TWU to an Arrowmen who has contributed greatly towards the bettering of Teaquan Wask University during the past or previous years. This is a very prestigious honor and should not be taken or awarded lightly. |
