Del McBride made 5 ceramic slides for W1-B. One may be
W1-A. They were made at Klee Wyk, an art colony North of the Nisqually
River. - Del Loder, October 2001.
In 1960, a mural was made for the fireplace inside the
Chief Seattle Scout Office by staff of Klee Wyk. This was for the
first function in the building, an Executive Banquet. The original
mural had no copper paint but after tape had removed some of the face
of the mural the lodge had to redo it and paint it over. - Del Loder
